A man was pronounced dead at Tallaght Hospital early today after falling 30 to 40 feet down a cliff near the Deerpark Hotel and Golf Course in Howth last night.
The man became impaled on tree branches. Members of Dublin Fire Brigade called in the Irish Coastguard rescue helicopter, based at Dublin Airport, to airlift him to hospital.
