A man (63) has died after he was struck by a car yesterday in Co Tipperary.
The man was walking on Rearcross Road on the outskirts of Newport at about 5.40 p.m. when he was hit by the car. He died at the scene.
His body was removed to Nenagh Hospital where a post mortem is being carried out. His name has not been released.
