Preliminary results of a post-mortem carried out by assistant State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, on the body of Mr Robert Malone (28), Pearse Avenue, Ennis, Co Clare, indicate he died from a single stab wound. Mr Malone died at Ennis General Hospital on Friday morning following a dispute at his home involving two women.
A woman in her 40s was released without charge on Friday afternoon. A file on Mr Malone's death is being prepared for the DPP.
