A Dublin man with a history of heroin abuse died in Mountjoy Prison from an opiate overdose, the Chief State Pathologist, Dr John Harbison, told an inquest in the Dublin City Coroner's Court yesterday. Mr Terence Flynn (41), of Rialto, was found in his cell in the afternoon of April 13th 1994 with a syringe protruding from his left thigh.

A verdict was returned in accordance with the medical evidence.
