A man is in a critical condition in hospital this morning following a road traffic accident in Co Derry.
He was struck by a car while walking at the Shore Road, Ballyronan, near Magherafelt yesterday at about 6pm.
They have appealed to a driver who was heading from Ballyronan to Toomebridge and who may have witnessed the accident to come forward.
