Man critically hurt in Meath stabbing

A man in his forties is critically injured in hospital this afternoon following a stabbing in Co Meath.

A man in his forties is critically injured in hospital this afternoon following a stabbing in Co Meath.

The stabbing occurred at Mornington Park at around 11 o'clock and the injured man has been taken Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

A second man was arrested at the house under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act and he is being questioned in Drogheda Garda Station.
