A MAN was critically ill in the Mater Hospital in Dublin early this morning following a shoot.ing in Gardiner Place. The incident occurred at about 2 a.m. and the man was taken to hospital by a Dublin Fire Brigade ambulance.
He was found to have injuries to the abdomen and arm and was transferred immediately to theatre.
