Man critical after Co Tyrone stabbing

Two men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing which has left a man in critical condition in hospital in Co Tyrone.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing which has left a man in critical condition in hospital in Co Tyrone.

The man sustained stab wounds to the neck and torso in the attack, which took place at about 1am today on Scotch Street in Dungannon. Police say he was attacked by another man armed with a broken bottle.

He was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital, where he is said to be critical.

One man in his 30s was arrested and a second man, in his 20s, was arrested later today. Both are still assisting police with their inquiries, a PSNI spokesman said.
