Mr Francis Hogan (34), of Ballybeg, Waterford, appeared at a court in Callan, Co Kilkenny, yesterday charged with the murder of Mr Seamus Tubbritt at Ardmore Park on December 9th. Det Garda Paul O'Driscoll said he arrested the defendant at Waterford Garda station at 11.29 a.m. yesterday and charged him with murder.
Mr Hogan said he was on disability and he was granted free legal aid. Judge William Harnett remanded him in custody to Mountjoy Prison for a week to appear at Kilmacthom as court on December 17th.
