A New Yorker, Mr Jamie Carr, has been charged with the murder of a Dundalk man outside a bar in the borough of Queens on August 13th. Mr Francis White (29) died after being fatally stabbed following an encounter outside a bar, from which Mr Carr had been ejected a short time earlier.
Police said the victim was "an innocent bystander." Mr Carr (25) surrendered to police yesterday morning, accompanied by his lawyer. Last week he had been indicted for murder and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
