A man was charged last nigh with murdering five-year-old Rosemary McCann whose body was found hidden in an alleyway near her home in Manchester last week.
Mr Andrew Pountley (31), was already in custody after being remanded on a charge of abducting Rosemary from her home in Oldham, Greater Manchester, seven weeks earlier. Mr Pountley, of Kew Road, Oldham, is due to appear in court today to face the new charge.
