Man charged with murder of fiancee

A Carlow man has been sent for trial charged with the murder of his fiancee.

A Carlow man has been sent for trial charged with the murder of his fiancee.

Gerard O’Hara (31), High Street, Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow, appeared before Cloverhill District Court in Dublin yesterday.

Mr O’Hara, who is unemployed, is accused of murdering Lisa Doyle (24) at a house in Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow, on September 20th, 2009.

The book of evidence was served on Mr O’Hara yesterday and Judge Ann Watkin ordered that he be sent forward for trial to the present sitting of the Central Criminal Court.
