A man appeared in Dublin District Court yesterday charged with the murder of Adam Lieghio (18 months) last Sunday. Mr Gerard Redmond (35), of Ferrycarrick Park, Coolock, Dublin was remanded in custody to appear at Dublin District Court next Monday.
Adam Lieghio was pronounced dead at about 5 a.m. on Sunday, following an alleged arson attack on his grandmother's house in Darndale. Removal of the body is to the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Darndale at 5 p.m. this evening, with a funeral Mass tomorrow morning.
