A man will appear in court this morning in connection with the murder of father-of-two Paul Keegan.

Mr Keegan (42), from Westpark Apartments, Chapelizod, was stabbed and beaten to death in a laneway off Beechfield Road in Walkinstown, Dublin, last Monday week.

Det Sgt Barry Butler told Dublin District Court yesterday that Warren Graham (20) was arrested at St Agnes' Road, Crumlin, on Wednesday evening, and taken to Crumlin Garda station.

He was charged with murder, and replied: "I'm sorry for what I have done."

Mr Graham, of Shancastle Lawns, Clondalkin, was remanded in custody with consent to bail to appear at Cloverhill District Court. He was also given free legal aid.

Two other men have previously appeared in court in relation to the incident.
