A man appeared in court yesterday on a murder charge in connection with a shooting in Dublin on Good Friday in 2007. Michael Taylor (28), of Summerhill, Dublin, appeared at Dublin District Court. He was charged with the murder of Paul Kelly (26) at Winston Ville apartments on Charlemont Road, Clontarf, Dublin, on April 6th, 2007.

Mr Kelly, who was originally from Gardiner Street, Dublin, had been staying at a relative’s apartment when he was shot six times. Judge Hugh O’Donnell remanded Mr Taylor in custody to appear again at Cloverhill District Court on September 30th.
