A 19-year-old man was remanded in custody by Belfast Magistrates Court yesterday on a charge of attempting to murder a woman at Lenadoon in west Belfast on Thursday.
Mr Damien Joseph Clarke, from Ballymurphy Road, has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The woman, aged 27, is in hospital with a fractured skull and other serious injuries after being found in her home on Thursday.
