A man has been charged today in relation to drugs found at a 21st birthday party in Waterford last weekend that has left two other men in a critical condition in hospital.

Anthony Connolly (25) from Priory Lawn, Ballybeg, was arrested on Sunday and appeared before Waterford District Court this morning facing four charges, including possession of cocaine.

He was remanded in custody but granted the right to bail and is due back in court next Tuesday, December 4th.  Another man, aged 19, was arrested this morning in connection with the incident.
