A 36-year-old man has appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court charged with the manslaughter of a man who died in a Co Antrim village last weekend.

Father-of-two Darren Murphy was found injured outside a bar in Armoy at 2am on Sunday and he died at the scene.

Raymond Paul Hamilton (36) with an address at Travers Place in Dervock, was released on bail on condition that he does not drink alcohol or contact witnesses.

Mr Hamilton spoke only to confirm he understood the charge.
