Man charged in relation to NI murder case

A man (27) was has been charged with withholding information about the murder of a man in the North at the weekend.

A man (27) was has been charged with withholding information about the murder of a man in the North at the weekend.

He is due to appear in court at Antrim Magistrates Court later today accused of not giving information to police about the killing of Patrick Fleming (40).

Mr Fleming died in hospital after being stabbed at a flat in Hazelbank Road in Coleraine, Co Derry, on Sunday. Seventeen months ago, the Assets Recovery Agency froze assets to the value of £460,000 belonging to Mr Fleming.

Officials said it was the "proceeds of Mr Fleming's illegal drug dealing". The assets included a house, 10 acres of land, 15 horses and an equestrian exercise area.
