A 42-year-old man was charged with drug offences after cannabis and suspected amphetamine tablets were recovered during a house raid by police in Co Derry.

He is expected to appear at Larne Magistrates’ Court this morning to face counts of possession and supply of class B drugs.

A large quantity of drugs was seized by police during a search of a house in the Bushmills Road area of Coleraine yesterday evening.

The charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS). An 18-year-old man and two women aged 19 and 41 years-of-age were released.
