Gardaí in Drogheda, Co Louth have arrested a man in his 70s in connection with sexual assaults in the area.
The man was arrested this morning and is currently detained at Drogheda Garda station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 which allows for a detention period
of up to 24 hours, a Garda statemeent said.
