A man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of journalist Martin O’Hagan seven years ago.

The killing of Mr O'Hagan in his home town of Lurgan, County Armagh, in September 2001, was claimed by loyalists after the Sunday Worldreporter wrote a series of articles investigating paramilitary activity.

A PSNI spokesman said the man (28), was being questioned in Antrim's serious crime suite.

A 40-year-old man arrested last Friday remains in custody.

Two men were charged last week with Mr O'Hagan's murder, while another two men were charged with lesser related offences.
