A man (41) has been charged following a raid on a building society in Leixlip, Co.Kildare, early this morning.
The man is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am tomorrow. He is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Leixlip Garda station.
The incident took place at the EBS building society on Mill Lane, Leixlip shortly after 9am.
