Man arrested over Drogheda shooting

A man (39) has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting Drogheda, Co Louth last year.

A man (39) has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting Drogheda, Co Louth last year.

The man is due to appear before the local District Court later this morning where he will face charges of attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm.

The incident took place on September 14th, 2006, near the Moneymore estate, when the occupants of a car fired shots at another vehicle.

One man was injured in the shooting.
