A man in his 50s has been arrested following the discovery of cocaine worth €250,000 today.
The man was arrested after gardaí in stopped and searched a vehicle in Clonmel, Co Tipperary at 4.30pm.
Gardaí from the local Detective Unit assisted by the Divisional Drugs Unit seized 3.5kgs and a quantity of amphetamines during the planned search.
The man is currently being held in Clonmel Garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
