A man has been arrested following the seizure of cannabis valued at €160,000 in Co Westmeath.
The drugs were discovered at a house in Kilbeggan by gardaí targeting cannabis grow houses in the region.
Gardai found about 400 cannabis plants as well as equipment used in the cultivation of the drug.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being held at Naas Garda station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
A follow up search at a property in Rathangan, Co Kildare resulted in the seizure of more cannabis growing equipment.
