Man arrested following Belfast road crash

A man was arrested today after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Belfast this morning.

A man was arrested today after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Belfast this morning.

The man, in his twenties, was injured on the Upper Newtownards Road close to Oakland Avenue at around 6.50am. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

Detectives detained a 23-year-old man but have appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
