A man was arrested early today and a firearm recovered after residents of Snowdrop Walk, in Darndale, reported shots being fired in the area. Gardai were also investigating reports that shots were fired outside a house in Cushlawn Park, Tallaght.
In a separate incident, two men were stabbed after a row early today outside the Gresham Hotel. The men were taken to hospital, but were not believed to be seriously injured.
