A Dublin man and a youth arrested in a stolen car near Ballinasloe, Co Galway, early yesterday morning, have been remanded in custody.
Mr Anthony Carolan (19), of Drumcairn Avenue, Tallaght, and Mr Steffan Cullen (17), who gave addresses at South Circular Road, Dublin, and Fatima Mansions, are charged with stealing £18 worth of petrol from a garage, possession of timber clubs intended for use in a burglary and the unlawful taking of a car at Killala Road, Dublin.
They are to appear in court again next Tuesday.
