A man and a six-year-old boy have died following a road accident in Co Roscommon.
The crash happened at Caldra Cross on the main Boyle to Roscommon road, approximately eight miles from Boyle, at 2.30 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved. A man in his 30s and a six-year-old boy travelling in one of the vehicles were killed.
A Garda statement said four other people were injured and have been taken to Roscommon General Hospital.
Gardai at Boyle are investigating.
