A man has pleaded guilty to “making a gain by deception” in the case of grant aid from Údarás na Gaeltachta in Dingle, Co Kerry.

Kenneth Wainright (56), Killorglin, had initially pleaded not guilty to two counts brought under the Criminal Justice Theft and Fraud Offences Act 2001. Judge Carroll Moran adjourned sentencing to July 8th. He remanded Mr Wainright on continuing bail.
