A Limerick man pleaded guilty at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today to possession of explosives in Co Tipperary.

A Limerick man pleaded guilty at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today to possession of explosives in Co Tipperary.

Kenneth O’ Reilly (28), of Killmurray Court, Garryowen, Co Limerick admitted the unlawful possession of an explosive substance – one kilogram of black powder – at Limerick Road, Roscrea, Co Tipperary on February 28th last.

The court remanded O’ Reilly in custody for sentencing on October 28th
