A man is accused of stealing a nun's handbag while she was in church, Dublin District Court was told yesterday.

A man is accused of stealing a nun's handbag while she was in church, Dublin District Court was told yesterday.

Mr David Emmet (20), of Belcamp Avenue Coolock, Dublin, was arrested by Det Garda James Phelan and charged with stealing the handbag, containing £450, from the nun in a church at Priorswood blast Monday.

Mr Emmet failed to appear in court, and Judge Murrough Connellan issued a warrant for his arrest.
