Man accused of murder remanded

A man accused of murdering a psychiatric patient has been remanded in custody for a month. Mr Dean Lyons (24), from Castlepark, Tallaght, is accused of murdering Mary Callinan (61), at Orchard View, Grangegorman, on March 6th, Ms Callinan and another woman, Sylvia Shields (57), were found stabbed to death in an Eastern Health Board residential home. He will appear again on August 20th.
