An 87-year-old man has died in a fire at a bungalow in Watergrasshill, Co Cork.
The alarm was raised by a relative who called to the house at Mitchelsfort at around 9.00pm last night. Fire crews recovered the man's body from the house a short time later.
Gardaí are treating the fire as accidental, and the cause is not yet known.
The man has not yet been named.
