A 60-year-old man who faces 68 charges of rape, buggery and indecent assault of several women was further remanded at Kilkenny Court yesterday. The man is accused of raping, buggering and indecently assaulting one victim at her home. Further sample charges involving five others range from rape to indecent assault at their homes in Kilkenny city. The charges span a period of 15 years from 1972 until 1987.
Judge William Harnett remanded the accused to the February 11th sitting of the court.
