A 48-year-old man has appeared before Dublin District court this afternoon charged with the murder of a boy in south Co Dublin yesterday evening.
Mr John Carroll with an address at Bayview Rise, Killiney was charged with the murder of 12-year-old Andrew Carroll who was found dead at the same address yesterday
Mr Carroll, a father of four, was remanded in custody and will appear before Dún Laoghaire District Court next Friday.
The boy's body was this morning removed to Loughlinstown Hospital where a post mortem was carried out by the State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy.
