A man (37) had been arrested in connection with the seizure of counterfeit travellers cheques and bank drafts in Co Louth.
The man was arrested earlier today after an operation by the Garda Bureau Of Fraud Investigation and the Customs Service Enforcement Unit, which uncovered chequesand drafts worth €150,000 in Drogheda.
The man who was arrested is currently being held at Drogheda Garda station under the provisions of Section 4, Criminal Justice Act.
Investigations are ongoing.
