A man (36) has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Co Leitrim.
The crash occurred at Bornacoola, Carrick-on-Shannon at about 8.20am. The victim was the sole occupant of the 4x4 vehicle.
His body was removed to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar and a postmortem is due to take place later today.
A Garda technical examination has taken place and the road has been reopened.
