Man (30s) arrested after Dublin hit and run

A man in his thirties has been arrested following a hit and run in Dublin's city centre this morning.

A man in his thirties has been arrested following a hit and run in Dublin's city centre this morning.

The driver was taken into custody by gardai after he was alleged to have rear-ended a bus before striking a man and a woman on Westmoreland Street in Dublin at around 7.30 a.m.

The injured parties were taken to St James's Hospital where their condition is described as not serious.

Gardai in Pearse Street station are investigating.
