A 25-year-old man has died following a house fire in Ballinamult, Co Waterford, in the early hours of the morning.
Gardaí in Co Waterford are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire at a house in Tourneena, Ballinamult, which was discovered at about 4.20am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to Waterford Regional Hospital, where a post mortem will take place later today.
The scene is currently preserved for technical examination.
