A man who was seriously hurt in a crash on Monday evening died earlier today.
The two vehicle crash happened at Ballybrannigan, Ballymahon, Co Longford on at 18.30h.
A 24-year-old man, who was driving a navy BMW was seriously injured when his car was in collision with a white Nissan van. He died in Mullingar General Hospital earlier.
The two occupants of the van were not seriously injured. Gardai in Athlone are investigating.
