Man (23) hurt in Co Dublin shooting

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital early this morning after a shooting incident in north Co Dublin.

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital early this morning after a shooting incident in north Co Dublin.

The man was found lying on the ground on Warrenhouse Road, Baldoyle at about 12.50am.

The gunman is believed to have left the scene of the shooting in a small silver car, according to Gardai.

The injured man was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination.
