Man (23) for court in NI on robbery charges

A 23-year-old man will appear in court in Belfast today charged with the robbery of a bookmakers earlier this year.

A 23-year-old man will appear in court in Belfast today charged with the robbery of a bookmakers earlier this year.

The man, who will appear before Belfast Laganside Court this morning, is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

The charges relate to a robbery which took place at a bookmakers on the Falls Road on September 6th.

According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), a samurai sword was used during the robbery.
