A man (22) who was attacked in Dublin city centre last month has died in hospital.
Liam McGowan, from Kinlough, Co Leitrim, was returning to his accommodation in Dublin city centre on Sunday, August 20th, when he was knocked to the ground by a blow to the back of his head.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he remained on a life support machine until 00.45 this morning.
Two people appeared Dublin District Court earlier this month charged with assault.
