LONDON - Some leading baby milk manufacturers were accused yesterday of jeopardising the health of infants in developing countries by systematically breaching an international health code.

The code, adopted by the World Health Assembly in 1981, aims to ensure that women can make informed n decisions about how to feed their babies, in the knowledge that breastfeeding is medically accepted as best.
