Mr John Ryan (29), managing editor of Magill magazine, is to leave the post later this week to edit a revamped culture section in the Sunday Times.
He said last night that his relationship with Magill's editor, Mr Vincent Browne, had been "surprisingly good". He said he had been brought in to help relaunch the magazine and it was now up and running and doing "exceptionally well".
