Pop star Madonna gave birth to a baby girl yesterday, her publicist, Ms Liz Rosenberg, said. She said the baby, named Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, weighed 6lbs 9oz at the Good Samaritan hospital in Los Angeles.
