The son of a prominent member of the 32-County Sovereignty Movement has been released from police custody after being arrested following the Omagh bombing,

Mr Shane Mackey, whose father, Mr Francis Mackey, is an independent member of Omagh District Council, was one of five people arrested on Monday in relation to the bomb attack.

Two others have also been released with a further two still being held at Castlereagh RUC station in Belfast.
