Ulster Bank has secured orders from the Commercial Court requiring solicitor Michael Lynn to repay to it loans of about €6.3 million.

The court has adjourned to Monday next an application by ACC Bank for judgment of €3.8 million against Mr Lynn and his wife, Brid Murphy, arising from a loan granted for the purchase by the couple of a house in Howth, Co Dublin.

A separate application by Bank of Scotland for judgment of some €3.8 million against Ms Murphy in relation to a loan granted for the purchase of the same house will also be heard on Monday.
